Become a Member of Greater Union Baptist Church

Welcome Home!

We are excited that you are considering becoming a part of the Greater Union Baptist Church family. Whether you are beginning your relationship with Jesus Christ, looking for a church home, or returning to fellowship, we believe God has led you here for a purpose.

At Greater Union, our mission is to Educate, Elevate, Edify, and Evangelize as we help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We are more than a congregation—we are a family committed to loving God, serving others, and making disciples.

The First Step: Salvation

The greatest decision you will ever make is to place your faith in Jesus Christ.

The Bible teaches:

  • Recognize your need for a Savior.
    • "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
  • Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.
    • "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
  • Confess Jesus as Lord.
    • "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9-10)
  • Receive God's gift of eternal life.
    • "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, congratulations! Your journey of faith has just begun.
