Our Ministries....

At Greater Union Baptist Church, our ministries are designed to fulfill God's purpose through our four pillars: Educate, Elevate, Edify, and Evangelize. Each ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth, Christian service, fellowship, and outreach as we work together to build disciples and strengthen the Body of Christ. We invite you to connect, serve, and grow with us as we seek to make a lasting impact in our church, community, and beyond.

Youth 

The Youth Ministry is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of believers through biblical teaching, mentorship, fellowship, and service. We strive to educate young people in God's Word, elevate their faith, edify their character, and equip them to evangelize their peers and communities. Through engaging programs and meaningful relationships, our youth are encouraged to become confident disciples and leaders for Christ.

FBI (Men's Ministry) 

The Men's Ministry empowers men to grow spiritually, lead faithfully, and serve purposefully. Through Bible study, fellowship, mentorship, and community outreach, men are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God while supporting one another in their roles as leaders, husbands, fathers, and servants. Together, we educate, elevate, edify, and evangelize as men committed to Christ-centered living.

WWP (Woman's ministry

The Women's Ministry provides a supportive and empowering environment where women can grow in faith, fellowship, and service. Through prayer, Bible study, discipleship, and outreach opportunities, women are encouraged to develop spiritually, strengthen relationships, and use their God-given gifts to impact their families, church, and community. Our goal is to educate, elevate, edify, and evangelize through the love and grace of Christ.

J. Smith foundation

The Ushers Ministry serves as the welcoming arm of the church, creating an atmosphere of hospitality, order, and excellence during worship services and special events. Ushers greet members and visitors with warmth, assist with seating and guidance, and help maintain a spirit of reverence throughout worship. Through faithful service, they help educate through example, elevate the worship experience, edify the congregation, and evangelize by reflecting the love of Christ to all who enter.

Christian Education

The Christian Education Ministry is committed to teaching and equipping believers with a strong foundation in God's Word. Through Sunday School, Bible studies, discipleship classes, and leadership development, we help individuals of all ages grow in biblical knowledge and spiritual maturity. This ministry serves as a cornerstone of our mission to educate believers, elevate understanding, edify faith, and evangelize through sound doctrine and practical application.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry leads the congregation in worship through song, praise, and musical excellence. Dedicated to glorifying God and inspiring hearts, this ministry uses music as a powerful tool to educate through worship, elevate the spirit, edify the church, and evangelize through the message of Christ. Whether through choir, praise team, musicians, or special performances, our goal is to create an atmosphere where God's presence is experienced and celebrated.

Media Ministry

The Media Ministry supports the church's mission by utilizing technology and digital communication to share the Gospel effectively. Through live streaming, audio and visual production, social media engagement, and multimedia presentations, this ministry helps extend the reach of the church beyond the sanctuary walls. We educate, elevate, edify, and evangelize by ensuring that God's message is communicated clearly, creatively, and professionally.
